Heridian scoops Business Idea of the Year Award 2009
at the Sunderland Portfolio Business Awards.
The innovative business concept and revolutionary approach
to e-Health services obviously swayed the judges who presented the
prestigious Award at a glitzy black tie event held at The Stadium of Light.
Peter Fullarton, founder and managing Director of Heridian was present to accept
the award.

Launched in April of 2009 we
commenced our first pilot project with the Nelson R. Mandela School of Medicine
in Durban South Africa on the 12th October - less than 7 months.
The judges at the awards were duly impressed with the
energy, innovation and rapid construction of the business and services and its
global appeal.
Already pursuing international business, Heridian is in
advanced negotiations in Armenia, China, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, South
Africa, Tanzania, The Netherlands, Uganda and the USA.
Heridian is the designer, developer and operator of the
i-MED Telemedicine Portal where the primary aim is to make the very best
telemedicine solutions available to governments, health service providers and
medical professionals around the world at ZERO cost charging only a small usage
fee on a per case basis.
Patients and their carers globally are likely to see
improved healthcare, at much lower costs and delivered far quicker than ever
before even in the most remote locations on earth.
Peter expressed his gratitude to the many local agencies
that had made Heridian and the realisation of the i-MED Portal possible - the
list is long and includes One North East, UKT & I, Business Link, RTC,
Sunderland City council, Sunderland Software City and the Business Innovation
